Question: What is my feng shui element and color?
i tried it on different websites
and i got 2 different elements
on some sites it says im wood
and on others it says im earth
my birth date is
6/7/89

can you tell me what my element and color is?

thank you in advance.

Answer:

Answer by bob taskbar
again fengshui is such a vast thing. there are many methods or theories. though most fengshui practitioners use more than 1 method in 1 application. it is important not the mixed them up.

i think you are confused.

first in fengshui, there is a method called bazi or destiny calculation. here, when you are born, the element of your year is earth. actually, this is like astrology. and there are 2 elements per hour, day, month, year of your birth. to make this short, i wont go to the details but it seems that you can be quite successful and you have all the luck you need. you can be indimidating to others esp on first impression. avoid being the third party in your relationship. and do practice patience. you can be a successful realtor or business with property.

second, your kua is 4 or wood, and it is best that your house (different for a condo or a apartment) faces north. it will just make your life a lot easier, and less frustrating for you.

forget about color. i know that there are books that recommend this. but to me, this has no power to have a significant effect on your life.

the thing to remember about color is that, bright colors like red, orange, yellow can activate both good energy and bad energy – this is a different fengshui method called flying stars.

Question: Feng Shui Question about multiple entranceways?
I have two doors which are used equally for all purposes (business and socializing). How do I configure the ba gua with two separate main entranceways?

Thank you.

Answer:

Answer by bob taskbar
forget about the bagua method, there is just no such thing. it is not a fengshui method. i know it has been written by many authors, but it just does not work. and no fenghsui practitioner who is serious with the craft use it.

as i said before, having 2 doors is okay, as long as one is a front door, the other a back door, and they are not in direct path of each other. if they are in direct path of each other, then all things and people that comes in to your life, goes out easily, this includes relationships, people and money – you just cannot seem to hold on to them long enough. when you have 2 front doors, then the tendency is to break up your family. i had a friend who have a bedroom with 2 doors. i suggested that he block one and just use the other one. he did not listen. after a few weeks. his wife discovered that he was having an affair – see tendency to break up the family, exactly.

location and direction of front doors are critical in fengshui. most important is th direction it faces, this determines the chi that goes into your house. in fengshui you can know what kind of energies that are in your house – so you can use these accordingly, where to put the bedroom, the kitchen, etc. based on the energy that is present in a particular area (not the bagua method). the location means that you need to locate the door in a location where there is good energy.

if the bagua method is effective, then where can you put the toilet/ bathroom, because anywhere you put it, it harms that aspect of your life. and it is just impossible not to have a bathroom. when in fact, there are many very effective fengshui methods like flying stars, 8 mansions, etc. – these are just not easy to use, abit more complicated. there are formulas where to put the toilet so you earn more money whenever you flush.

Question: Where to place the wardrobe in my room according to feng-shui?

In which of the areas of the Bagua map should it be placed.

Answer:

Answer by primestar
the bagua map is not a fengshui method. i know there are many books published regarding the subject. easy as it may seem, it does not work! fengshui is just not that easy. i know, i have been taking numerous seminars/ courses regarding fengshui, and i still have not found a fengshui master who practice this method.

it does not really matter where you put your wardrobe inside your bedroom. why? in fengshui, the best location for a bedroom is where the good energy is, so no matter where how you arrange the furnitures in it, you will still enjoy the good energy. this energy is something that you cannot feel not sense, but it exists, and it affects your life whether you are aware or it or not.

colors, style or decoration, and pictures/ calligraphy do not have any effect in fengshui. and that is the truth. anyone saying otherwise is just selling you something.

last, in fengshui, there is no person on earth who can make a bad energy of a specific space into good. you can make a bad into neutral, but only temporarily. when the right time comes, whether you have that remedy or not, the bad thing will still happen. so to me, because i have taken so many seminars in fengshui, remedies do not really work. it is still better to put a bedroom where there is good energy (this is based on using flying stars, 8 mansions, other methods). the more methods that support a particular application, the more powerful your application becomes.

I am a designer as well, but am not well-read in the workings of feng shui. I know a little about it, but I would like more chi throughout my space.

BTW, I have a loft without a garden!

Answer:

Answer by Jeanne B
There are several books on Feng Shui for your garden. Read then carefully, then try it at home.
Some things will be to have a turtle sculpture in one area of the garden, but read the book first.

Answer:

Answer by Ms. Davis if you’re nasty
I don’t think it matters what color frame you use.
It might be more important where the awards are placed…

Draw attention to your achievements. Frame any diplomas, certificate or awards and place them in the far left corner of your office. If you’re not able to display such items in your work station, install a high-watt light bulb in your desk lamp. Better yet, get a floor lamp that casts light up toward the ceiling. This will increase your visibility in the workplace. Lighting a red candle at your desk each day can help, too.
